In terms of my opinion - I feel the same as what you have expressed.

In terms of do I actually do it..... I never have the chance. My wife always lays down on the couch, and I have the "pleasure" of rubbing her legs and/or feet while she takes naps o_O

It a damn couch. Use it how you want to use it. In your own damn house no less. What the f has the world come to that a husband and wife can’t agree on how to use a couch?

My wife gets leeway because for years she had to deal with a phone call in the middle of the night followed by van picking me up and then me not returning for six months or more.

However we would never tell each other that we didn’t agree with the way to use a piece of furniture. But then again when six to nine months a year is spent apart due to deployments you pick your battles. Laying down on a couch is not one of them.

We usually fly with the same air crew when the six of us deploy. They actually have two couches on fast skids to install in the C130 or C141 for use. We lay on those while traveling to foreign countries.

Maybe fight over the right way to invest money before the change to digital currency strips you of your wealth. That’s a better conversation for disagreement.

It's definitely not weird to stretch out on the couch! I recently bought this L-shaped sectional specifically for that. The whole point of having such a spacious piece of furniture is to relax and get comfortable. If there's space to stretch out, why not take advantage of it?

At a friends house or at home, I stretch out. If at a strangers or acquaintances house, I sit. Seems fair.
