Here is me at the stair climb. Yes I know it looks like I suck, this was not easy with a manual trans. Especially considering my clutch slips because it can't handle my supercharger and first gear chatters bad.

Thanks! I'm a rookie... compare to all the group. Learned some things, added some things to my mental wishlist for the Truck, and will try to budget them in. Look forward to do more of this.

Ah..!! You did awesome, I guess this was after we left..?

I really think lowered air pressure (17 psi) would have helped. This is the 1st time I hit up Lazzy Springs without airing down, I know its a bit over kill for this park. It does help a lot...

You may be a rookie but atleast you are 4WD
I have to work hard to keep up with the 4WD guys & I can't do EVERYTHING that they do but I still have fun. Only traction aids I have is my OEM limited slip (my truck came with open diff from factory) & airing down the tires to 18 psi.
    Every little bit helps ;)

thats hard. i was playing in sand after in 2WD and would get stuck pretty quick. messing around we managed to get a FJ stuck in the sand...I did the same and learned my crawl control only gets me out if I use it as soon as I get stuck. once I lay the frame chances are its not getting out

Damn that FJ is planted! Interesting what you said about your truck. I'm sure it's still very capable though. Playing in the sand, I have to get some speed. I ususally keep the tranny in 2nd or 3rd & accelerate just enough to keep the tires spinning but not "digging" into the sand so I kinda float over it & run 18 psi on the tires. When ever I do buy a 4WD atleast I will have some 2WD experience.

One time I went up the hill that is near the stairs & as I was going up I didn't get enough speed so I started to spin my tires before reaching the top. Once the truck stopped moving I threw it into reverse, backed down the hill, hit again with more speed & made it.

Lazy was pretty wet this time compared to when we last went in March.

    2WD PROBLEMS!

@mouse007 @lamia2super Do you guys recall the brand of the lights the Orange TRD Prod had? I'm interesting on adding a light bar... I re-call he said they had lifetime warranty and they were affordable. DIGILIGTHING... or something like that.

IF you have a link that would be great too!
