I just ordered one of these for my 06 regular cab and plan on giving feed back on the install and on the performance. Can't say it will be accurate because I have not ridden in or driven a 2.7 2nd gen with a DT header but none the less I figure it will be good info. Post up if interested about anything specific before I install. Btw it will probably be a week or two before I install.

Interesting. Please take pics. Would you be able to do do dyno before and after install, maybe post graphs?

Cool, been eyeing this piece. Nice and coated already. Might wait another 12k or so until drivetrain warranty expires so no bullshit from dealer should I need to use warranty for some reason before then. Please post up when done........

Is the LC header supposed to be better than the DT header? I ordered the DT header over a month ago from there website and they still have not shipped it or gotten back to me. I emailed them several times with no answer. I am going to call but its a pain in the ass when your deployed. I may have to cancle my order and get the LC

i had the dt header and prefer the LC over it for everyday driving and light towing. the LC is better for me cause i shift at low rpm's 2k-2300. the install should only take about 1.5 hours and is very easy on the 2.7. good luck

Well it came in today along with my afe pro dry drop in filter. Faster than I expected. I ordered it last friday and with regular ground shipping I got it today. Hopefully will be doing the install Sunday afternoon.

I ordered a set of these as well. Shipping wasn't bad. I just looked at my invoice, but it didn't have the shipping cost on it. I don't think I paid more than 20 bucks. 3 more months until I can install them :-D

I didn't pay any shipping. Took $399.95 out of the bank and that's cost. I installed it today and it's great. I will be posting up a few pics and the install step by step as I did it. The noticeable difference right off the bat was the idle level. Dropped 500-700rpms. Currently idles at 500rpms. Haven't gotten the chance to really experience it yet though but no worries. My official opinion will come soon

hey guys, sorry it's taking so long to post up the install. i found that there really was nothing to it so i didn't get to take very many pictures. i'll be posting them up as soon as i can get them on the computer. what i can say is that i am pleased with the output. the lows are incredible and the highs are also noticeable. i guess i'll find out sooner or later if it's worth $400

Did you keep the rest of the original exhaust system in place? How's the sound?

yeah i did keep the stock piping and muffler and it doesn't sound noticeably different. it's not louder at all. maybe a slight more rumble but the stock muffler is pretty good at muting almost anything coming out of the engine. but it's not ricey or poppy in any way
