Selling my LC7i. You can use this to add a subwoofer to the stock head unit. This can also be used to convert hi-level speaker signals to low level for amps that only take low level inputs.

It also allows you to adjust the gain on the speaker signals as well as the subwoofer output and has a function to restore what is known as bass roll off. As the headunit volume is increased the low frequency output is decreased after a certain point, resulting in a drop in bass at higher volumes.

    75 local or 85 shipped

Located in SW Washington/Portland Oregon area.

I'm interested but I'm kind of an audio noob. Bought a truck with a fugly Kenwood radio that I immediately ripped out and replaced with a stock 2014 radio.

But I have two useless subs behind the back seats now that I would like to hook up again. There's a mono amp under the driver seat and I think a 4 channel amp under the passenger seat.

Is this what I need and what else would I need to buy?
    I'm in Seattle btw

I couldn't tell you based off that info alone. It is possible to power subs and a speakers without this, it just depends on your amps. Do the amps have speaker wire inputs or are they only RCA inputs?

If they have speaker inputs then you don't necessarily need this. This is primarily for those that have amps that only have RCA inputs. The LC7i would allow to to adjust preamp gain though and it helps with the way bass is cut off at higher volumes.

I can’t speak to what else you’ll need, but if you don’t replace the stock head unit you will most likely need one of these. I just replaced all 4 of my JBL speakers and the installer told me I needed one of these signal processors to really get the most out of it. I don’t know enough about audio to help further than that though.

Its under my driver seat. Doubt it will go behind the dash but maybe zip tied under it. Take pics of the amp inputs and Ill let you know. Or just get the models of the amps.

The Epicenter is basically a bass restoration device. You should have speaker wires that go from the H.U. to the 4 channel amp and to the Epicenter. So it should be like this:

    Bass/Sub Side: H.U.>Epicenter>Sub AMP>Subs
    Speaker Side: H.U.>4 channel AMP>Speakers

It looks like you're missing the wiring in the truck pictures. Based off your pictures the LC7i would help. You would need to run the speaker wire from the head unit (can be done with metra harnesses and speedwire) to the LC7i. The Lc7i would then convert the speaker channels to RCA\low input for the 4 channel amp and it has a 3rd output for a sub channel (bassically it sends two ouputs from the rear speaker input so you can add a sub without splicing). You'd run the speaker channel RCAs to the speaker amp and the sub channel RCA to the Epicenter. Then from the Epicenter to the sub amp with the output RCAs on the epicenter.

Im not familiar enough with the epicenter to know what it does beyond what the LC7i does, but it might not be a bad consideration to add the LC7i to your system and then remove the epicenter all together. The LC7i has bass restoration already, but I assume the epicenters is better. You could also run both as I mentioned.

    PM me for more help.
