LCA Bushing Welded to arm??

    Has anyone seen anything like this? I did not realize it was tack welded to the arm until it flew out, under pressure. I have never seen instructions calling for the sleeve to be welded to the arm.

    Over the years I have seen very strange things .

    I can venture a guess it was done to hold the sleeve while pressing the bushing out
