The same shit everyone else has.
If your cutting the cam bolts, the bushings need replaced.

    You’re this far into it….

Save yourself the headache of trying to get the cut bolts out of them and just replaced the bushings.

To be clear, I did not apply anything to the threads as that's not the failure (corrosion) point. No problems with mine coming loose and we're a year annd a half down the road.

As for Fluid Film "not allowing the bolt(s) to come loose on their own", it too is a lubricant, so I don't understand the logic.

Dont anti seize (or grease) the face of the cams. I dont think a little on the threads will hurt anything in the rust belt, but as @Too Stroked said you only need to coat the parts that actually stick, which is the bolt and sleeve

I used SPC can bolts on my 4runner. They will never seize because they have a plastic sleeve.

It has no were near the lubricating properties of an antiseize or grease, thats the logic, its pretty simple.

Yeah, I tried to keep it off the threads, just lubed inside the bushing sleeves and the unthreaded portion of the bolts. That is the interface that corrodes itself together. BUT, it's kind of hard to pinpoint apply any of these products.
