Recently did 35s and drop bracket. Brand new LCA’s. Took to
Shop to get alignment done. I want to know your opinions on this. I’m going to leave out my opinions so I don’t bias anyone. Steering wheel has a slight pull. The shop even told me they couldn’t get it perfect. I didn’t think it was bad but on a long road trip fighting 0.5 degree did start to fatigue my arm after one hour.

That's not stock, you've got some kind of either gusset kit that's been put on or this is a drop bracket.

Either way you're not going to get much better than what you've got as you're modified.

Best bet is to break out the angle grinder.

I'm also going to assume your new LCA are not OEM and that can lead to clearance issues as well.

Maybe that drop bracket needs to be loosened and shifted over a little? How's the clearance on the other side/control arm?

When I installed the drop bracket, i tried as best as I could to get it completely even. But I understand what you mean. The other arm is kicked out the other way almost the opposite, but I’ll have to take some measurements tomorrow because I don’t remember if that was the frontmost or rear most cam bolt

Yes it is a drop bracket and they are OEM Tacoma LCA’s, all $1200 worth plus new hardware.

    Thanks for the quick responses,

I am a cynical sob and I didn’t want to say it without some opinions first, but in my opinion the tie rods don’t look like they were touched and I think the mechanic just tried to dial everything in using the cam bolts as a lazy way to align it. My friend had a drop bracket Chevy with 35’s he took to another alignment shop (highly rated, but I couldn’t get in it was a two week wait) and he said his tracks straight as hell can let go of the wheel.

at first I thought it was because Of all the modified parts but after seeing this metal to metal touching, in my opinion that shouldn’t have left the shop like that. Am I wrong ?
