I decided to replace my LCAs due to the LBJs going bad. Two of the four alignment cams were seized in the bushings. I was worried about how hard it would be to cut them out. I was going back and forth on trying to loosen them, hammer them out, use an angle grinder, or cut them.

I used a sawzall with 6" 8tpi carbide tipped blade. It took less than a minute per side.

Just wanted to post this in case anyone was wondering how bad it is. Chop the bushing off where you can squeeze the blade in. If the bolt remains seized to the remainder of the metal sleeve, cut into it at a right angle, taking care to not cut your mount.

    You can do it.

The same shit everyone else has.
When I was doing mine I kept reading horror stories about how hard they were to cut and remove and shit.

My experience was the same as yours.

    I went with loaded Moogs.

That said, I have the oem sitting around that I plan on rebuilding at some point.

I’m sure in another 100k miles the current ones on the truck will be frozen.

Loaded LCAs. I got Moog open box for about $70 per side.
