What is that shifter bezel? I've never seen cup holder in it

That's the center console from a regular cab with the bench seat.

Please tell me more about that clutch. That's the one I'm considering.

Reviews I read were positive. I like it so far, just in the break-in period. Took just a few hours to install. Cheaper than the URD unit which was the other I was considering

Was looking into getting that short shifter. How difficult was it to install on the 5 speed?

I had a local truck shop do the clutch and shifter install all at once. Easier to do it that way, however the instructions say it's a 15min installation

Wondering about this clutch as well. You replace or resurface the flywheel?

    Also curious.

You had mentioned your original clutch had 150k on it in another thread.

Kit does not come with a flywheel, so OEM unit was resurfaced.

Yeah, give us another update after break in of the clutch. I've been doing some reading about heavier flywheels. LCE has one for the 2TR $300. I want to do their heavy flywheel too instead of resurfacing the OEM for $50-100.

I have 165K miles on my original clutch, I've been thinking about replacement as well.

A heavier flywheel would be great, my 2.7L is easy to stall and the flywheel howls a little when slipping the clutch once it gets hot (warped maybe?) and I think replacement with a heavier one might make improve the drive-ability / make it not so easy to stall.

Curious to hear about the improvements from the new clutch.

Im just about at the 500 mile break-in point. So far results have been positive. Feel is pretty much like stock although engagement is slightly different obviously. Can you give me the link to the flywheel on the LCE site? I don't see any 2tr options. Strange how they don't include a flywheel with the clutch kit. I just assumed that the stock unit is fine with resurfacing which is what I did. I'll chime in again once I have a few WOT pulls. Also, just so you know, my truck will be featured in a future episode of "The Smoking Tire" with Matt Farah on YouTube. You can check out my Evo 8 which was just released a few days ago!

The re-surfaced OEM flywheel is fine. I'm trying to overcome 1000 lbs. of armor and 35's on 4:88 gears. Just type in 2TR in the search bar on LCE's site it's on page 2. Thanks for the update.

From what I've read the heavier flywheel is good for not stalling off-road, low end torque, and pulling hills on the highway, but bad for acceleration.

Very nice Evo, @SLVRNBLK . He was thoroughly impressed. No need to ask what you have done to it.

What all do you have done to the truck though?
