I removed the charcoal filter and changed the intake filter to an afe dry. Now I want to install a new header to lower the power band. Having 10k miles on the truck, I'm concerned about voiding my warranty (or how much does it void).

Should I be concerned or should I just go ahead and do it?

My truck had 12,000 miles on it when I decided to install the LCE header. Honestly, I can't tell you much about the warranty but that header sure did make a world of difference and I would definitely do it again.

You'd have more to worry about removing the carbon filter than installing headers. Read up on the Magnusson-Moss Act to see where your rights fall federally and follow up with state regs.

As far as I've read here, it is but it is not registered by lce due to not being registered. I think I read something about not being profitable enough for the investment in registering it.
