I just put in 265/75's and when I get 4 people(which I do often) it's terrible. Is it noticeable and worth the $500 or should I just cut my muffler off haha

That completely depends. Are you going to do any more bolt ons? Mixed with a good filter or intake plus exhaust it will net you a few horsepower and bend the power band to a little higher in the rpms.

I'm a guy that mods everything I own. Guns, computers, cars, etc haha. Nothing I own remains factory. So for me, it was worth it.

Or you could be patient and email them before a holiday like Black Friday and see what they are going to offer and wait til then.

I love done the secondary air filter removal and threw a AFe Pro Dry S filter in. I plan to throw the header in and maybe put a straight pipe in place of muffler in hopes of a good bit of power gain and torque and maybe a better sound.

Absolutely worth it. First gear pretty much the same, pulls noticeably better in 2nd 3rd and 4th. I stuck a Flowmaster Delta 50 on it...a little tinny at first, but after a few miles it got mellow. Happy happy joy joy!

I want to hear more feedback from those that have installed the header on their 2TR. Come on, who's got one?

    A thing or two...
I have LCE's header and exhaust on my truck. Overall, I like the setup, but the exhaust drones at 70+ and is loud AF when you get on it. I've got a resonator that I'm going to have welded in with the hopes that it kills the drone and quiets it down some. After 1.5-2 hr of driving I start getting a mild headache.

Yeah. I have a couple of hills heading home that I have to climb from a stop. Since installing, I don't have to wind the motor up as high between shifts to keep it from bogging and I can accelerate uphill in a higher gear.

If I just installed the headers on my 2.7 and no exhaust mod:

    A. Will I tell a difference with just the header?

    B. Will it sound like a Honda?

    Yes and no

I didn't upgrade my exhaust past the header either. Not hardly any exhaust tone change

I put the header on today. I missed the part in the video that says to remove a/c brackets so yeah I scratched the outside of the header. Also those bottom nuts were a bit of a pia to remove and torque down. Not too bad on the removal because only has 6k miles on it. All in all a productive day. Happy it is in and after about 50 miles it seems to maintain speed a little better. Its a small but noticeable difference. Also put the new better air filter in.

I never noticed a main req lightflashing before. After install of the LCE when I start the truck the main req light flashes for about 5 times and than goes off. Anyone else have this happen? Is this gonna be a problem?

The Maintenance Required light starts flashing when you start getting close to needing an oil change. It will go solid eventually. It just needs to be reset.

I've got their header on my 3rz. It did make a bit of difference for power and made the exhaust tone deeper and louder.

If I had to do it over, I'd buy the NWOR tri-y long tube header. Apparently it gave much more low end torque gains on the dyno over the LCE.
