So, after reading many, many threads on how to increase the HP on the 2nd gen 2.7 engine. I came across some threads that mention the LCE headers as being really good. However, the one bad thing that I keep seeing, is LCE no longer makes the headers for our little engines.

Lets go back to yesterday: Before I read that LCE no longer makes the headers, I sent them an email asking about their product etc, and got an email from Mike in sales. Telling me to call him so, he could cover the options etc.

Fastforward to today at around 1:25ish CST: I call LCE, and did not speak with Mike, cause he was on the phone, but did speak with one of the sales reps (I forgot his name.... Damn it... I think Drew or something). At any rate after telling him what I was looking for, and that I had read that they no longer make the headers (read this just before I called them, but called anyway). He told me that this was true that they did stop making them.... HOWEVER, they are going to start making them again for the 2nd gen 4 cycl engine, and not only are they going to start making them again, but they are doing a little bit redesigning to make them better, and easier for them to make.

So, after hearing all this, I had to ask if it was ok to put this info out here for us, and he said yes, ok to start the so called "rumor". But considering the way he said we are going to be making them again, tells me it is more than a rumor, it will be fact. I think he said the projected release time would be in about 6 months give or take.

So, just wanted to share the good news for those who were upset that they never got a chance to get one, and for those who like me are interested in getting a good set of headers that come highly recommened on this forum.....

    Thanks

They do, but the reviews seemed to be mixed on them. I was looking at them, and was considering them, but I think the LCE's give better preformance. Then again I may be wrong on that, but I guess that depends on the redesign they do... It seems like alot of people like the LCE's a little more too, but do the DT's due to LCE not making them anymore..

    Thanks.

    Ok. So, I re-read what I put

"It seems like alot of people like the LCE's a little more too, but do the DT's due to LCE not making them anymore"

    Ment to say:

It seems like alot of people like the LCE's a little more too, but I was going to do the DT's due to LCE not making them anymore".

    Sorry for make that mistake.

I wonder if I get the moderator to change the subject of this thread to:

    NEW LCE Headers

    Thanks.

Called them up today and they are still not close to making them. But he said the more guys that call up to request them the closer we are to getting them to make more. And the more people that call to put their name on the list the lower the price too.

Call them and let's get our headers!

Negative, I scored it from FS, it is on truck not in an Fs thread. Be more like 700 if I even considered selling it which I'm not.

Dude, you and me are having the same issues remember?

The 2011 2.7L have a redesigned Air Switching Valve. Looking at the picture of the LCE header, I can see that it will not work with our trucks.:(

From what I understood after talking with they guy from LCE. They are going to do a redesign on the new ones they put out. So, it would make sense for them to include that in the redesign they put out. So, Lets hope that is the case for everyone with 2011 and up.

    Thanks.
