Actually considering a used 3rd gen Raptor which is EB but same price as a new Limited+ Tundra. Or a 2020-2021 Tundra with low miles clean.

Nice truck but personally I have no faith in EB engines. They do make great power while getting awesome MPGs, I’ll give it that.

Pretty sure you can still get new f150s with the coyote 5.0 NA V8 if that’s your preference.

2022 tundra fit finish was meh, but mine was dead nuts reliable for 40k miles. Guy was in the dealer when I got my 24 taco trading a 22 f150 with massive oil leaks already. I mean so bad, they were thinking about setting up a protest out in the middle of the highway over it.

V8 tundra sounds like it’s the way to go for you!
My neighbor bought the 3.0 duramax I was looking at. 120 miles in hard broke and towed to dealer. Fuel pump went. Also has the cracked roof. He won’t see his new truck for a month now.

Damn. Ya I’m leaning real hard but all the clean ones are west coast. Did you have an older tundra before the 2022. The two I drove were plasticy on the inside even for Toyota and already had rattles. Just was disappointing for the price. What did you trade in on?

    Ugh.

The hybrid tundra is a freaking rocket ship.

Go check one out, maybe they fixed the finish issues. I know I was worried about the turbo but Toyota nipped that in the butt fast. put on some music with bass and see if she rattles though. Toyota is good about keeping the model the same and fixing issues fast.

I just wanted a smaller truck and I like trying new things. I’d get a tundra again.

I traded my 22 1794 tundra with the air suspension and advanced packages for a 24 Tacoma off-road with upgrade package and 14” screen.

I think the point that's being made is the 2024 model won't have had any of the top trims available for nearly 6 months. This is making a LOT of people wait on the Tacoma until they at least know what the iForce Max vehicles will be priced at. I know I'm waiting to see the fuel economy and price figures before I start down the path of any decision making and I know for a fact I'm not alone.

I personally don’t expect a big improvement by the hybrid on mpg. I do expect a sizable increase in price for the Pro and Trailhunter. The hybrid AWD Limited will likely be $60,000.

I have yet to see the premium infotainment system in person, but I was surprised when I bought my truck and saw even how large the cheapy version is. It looked smaller in the youtube videos I watched.

Stick around here longer. There will be a mod for that in the future. Cause how can there not be?

Bring on the mods that make use of that JBL speaker thingy hole. There’s a grill covering it, but I think it’s just an empty hole underneath.

Having navigation running on that big ass screen would be useful, but Apple CarPlay itself doesn’t make very good use of the screen real estate being offered. Maybe if my truck had all of the fancy cameras it would be cool.

I’ll stick to my floor mounted arm that lets me use my true big ass iPad and keep the screen down low. I run all my nav and ARC-GIS stuff on that. Don’t like more over the dash line than needed.

It's actually a sin to drive a Tacoma and not love Alice in Chains.
