Will be leaving Ky on Friday morning. Plan on being in Leadville Sat evening or Sun around lunchtime. Already have a cabin setup that a local church rents out. Hoping to see some of you guys during the 10 days or so.. If you see a white 2017 TRDOR with several black stipes, with a Amateur Radio Ky. License Plate. Truck is StormTrooper trimmed. Blink your lights. Always ready to shake a hand.

Stop by Quincy’s if you want to get a $12 filet with baked potato. The saloon is a must for one drink and a look around. Tree line has a great rooftop deck if it’s still warm out. Lots of good trails close by. Shrine pass is good for leafs if they haven’t all fallen by then, they’re going quick! I did halfmoon on my dirt bike last week. Didn’t make it all the way to the mill (unfortunately) but the river crossings were fairly low.

    Can confirm.

Ride the railroad, pay the extra for the engine cab ride on the way down. On the way up be sure to sit on the side opposite from the station (not that you can't get up and move around, but that side will have all the views).

Hagerman Pass to Independence Pass makes for a long day, very beautiful though. I would also recommend Mosquito Pass, Weston Pass and Lost Canyon.
