Leaf in dakar leaf pack broke...options?

Only 1 leaf in passenger side broke. Dont wanna drop 600 bucks for 2 new packs. What would you guys do?

 

which leaf? measure it up and go junkyard hunting.

Because if it’s at the bottom (not your overloads) you can get the Dakar AAL and swap the broken one (and the other side too for uniformity)

 

It is the second leaf from the top

 

Contact OME; ask is the covered by warranty. If the say no; ask how much for a replacement leaf.

I would hope OME will warranty this! I understand there's a lot of variables, but we pay a premium for these quality parts they should hold up!

 

That's what I'm hoping..the packs are not even 5 yrs old

 

I’ve had nothing but top notch customer service thru ARB USA, but at 5 years old I would expect to pay for a new leaf myself.

 

Just double checked and it's the 5th leaf down from the top. That able to be replaced with aal?

 

Have you checked with OME? Personally even if I had to pay for the new spring I'd go with what's supposed to be in it then guessing!

 

Been dealing with them for 2 weeks now and they have been zero help. I got more info from you guys so far then OME. Kinda disappointed. Wont be buying from them again.

 

I have a set of OME’s that I took off the truck a while ago. I believe they are bent, because they were causing a 1” taco lean. I am planning to break them down to use the second and/ or third leaves from the top for another project, and I was going to scrap the rest. I can’t imagine shipping would be too bad if you want a couple.

 

The dakar aal isnt the bottom leaf, its the 3rd
