Toyota just completed the leaf spring recall on my truck. They didn't notice my old leaf springs had a lift. As you can see in the picture my truck is temporarily leaning back.

Fortunately i noticed right away and they still had the old parts. I'm not really a car guy so I am not sure what you call it but it looks like an extra leaf spring that's shorter and more U shaped that gives the springs added height.

Anyway, in order to put the lift back in I need to buy the bolts that go through the middle of the springs. They aren't U-shaped bolts. It's a straight 3" bolt.

My question is, do I need to buy a specialized bolt and nut or is this something I can get at lowes/home depot? Is it a certain grade or stainless? Any idea the width?

    Thanks!

You need the centering pin and you should be able to pick one up at any of the big box auto shops or even your local spring shop. They are not brand specific.

Thanks so much, that's exactly what I need.
