Hi I have a 2017 tacoma OR. I had the suspension done years ago can't really recall how much lift I got out of it but it was Bilstein 5100s all around, OME 888s and Dakkar Leafs medium duty, SPC UCAs. I really didn't have any issues with this set up until recently where I added quite a bit of constant weight.

Smart Cap + Alucab rtt + rear steel bumper is about 500 lbs constant weight.

I'm experiencing some sag. the leafs are pretty much flattened out. I hated these leaf spring with the ridiculous squeaks and fixes that wouldn't last too long.

I'm looking for an inexpensive fix. I have brand new factory leaf springs I kept around. Is there any add a leafs that would work well in my situtation? or should I keep the dakkars and add a leaf?

I'm a noob with anything suspension. TIA

I’m not sure where I saw this but I read somewhere that you could use other leafs from stock as a donor and add them to your existing with the add a leaf.

Flat leaf springs is not a problem. It’s completely normal. But if you still want to increase your spring rate, you can get a leaf from ARB that turns your medium Dakars into heavy Dakars.

Look into helpers like “Sumo Springs”.

    AT Overland Summit,
I helped a buddy do exactly this. Easiest fix for the increased weight.
