Need pics homie, I've swapped mine solo and help others, it can be annoying but my leafs were never 4-6 away from the eyelit. Are you sure you didnt install the Archive hangers incorrectly? They have two positions? Did you install the leafs correctly with the miitary wrap forward on the frame?

Also, Ive never had to disconnect the brake line bracket

There are times when I'm fighting some project and the last thing I want to do is clean my hands (enough) to take a pic. Then, when I'm done and either kludged and won or failed, I think that it would have been smart to have some pics.

Most of the time it's like your brain is in problem solving mode and not thinking about your phone. Then after the fact it's like damn it!

BTDT. Come hell or high water, this shit is getting done. No time for anything but beers.

Invariably, my wife will want to have a friendly chat. I can't tell how many times she has only come into the garage when I'm balls deep in a project gone sideways.

The amount of times people ask for pics part way through the install. I don't plan on stopping for photo breaks in the middle of a job. However when you get to the point of having to ask on a forum for help pics will definitely help.

nothing like dealing with the fallout for being short with your wife when she interrupts you during a battle between you and a mechanical device. happened to me many times.

I just did leaf springs in my garage on my own in 1.5 hours, these sound like the wrong springs. It shouldn't be hard to get the shackle on.

The fight is usually to line the axle to the pin on the spring.

Yeah, the last thing on my mind was total pictures. But I understand everyone's issue. I will measure my new leaf and my stock leaf (which is on my truck now) and see how they compare.

So if these are that off in length, what would you recommend I do? Atlas doesn't seem to be too keen on returns. I guess I might have to list them for sale.

OMG I can't tell you how many times this has happened. I love my wife but the timing sometimes just sucks! Waiting for OP final call on this one!

I honestly can't see them sending you the wrong leaf pack... it has been the same one since 2005. Something else is going on and with out pics... we are flying blind.
