Hi all, new owner, new member, first post.

I have done plenty of research and understand most of the process of replacing my stock leaf springs, but I would like help with setting the truck back down and the final tightening of all the hardware.

Is there a special way/order of doing things properly? I believe I've seen warnings not to just tighten everything all the way down while the truck is still up on the jack/stands. I've read vague instructions of setting it down first, then torquing things to spec?

Can anyone be more specific? Which of the hardware does this rule apply to? I don't want to get this wrong.

2002 Tacoma ExtCab TRD 4WD with 100k miles. 1 previous owner, garage kept, very clean, very little rust. He did a fair amount of towing a small camper however, so the stock suspension is beat (especially in the rear).

I am replacing all 4 stock Bilstein Toyota shocks with 4600s, and replacing leaf springs with General Springs (non HD, just stock). I don't wish to lift the truck more than stock height at this time.

    THANKS!

UPDATE: I think I found my answer in the service/repair manual. Looks like the hanger pin bolt and the shackle pin bolts are the ones that need to be torqued AFTER the suspension settles.
