So i bought a 2007 tacoma with a 6 in lift and a cheavy leaf swap. The mounts that were added cover the forward most bolt hole for the rear bumper. I'm looking for help in what can be done about it. I'd like to add a HC bumper and swing out for the spare but am at a loss.

First and foremost I’d make sure the mount is fully welded to the frame. Then just drill through the mount where the hole is covered and use a grade 8 bolt and hardware.

So the bracket is a 90 degree piece to get to the covered hole you'd have to cut the rear most side away. In the second photo you kcan kind of see what I mean where it and the current bumper meet

    ^^^THIS.
The previous owner of my truck had some homemade mount for a Jeep shackle that I replaced with the BAMF mount. I did not make much cutting to hammer the homemade mount off! I'm actually surprised the thing had not sheared off, considering it was flexed out like the OEM ones can do.

The second picture is of the mount. It's far from home made

I know that's the mount but it doesn't look much different than what was on mine. Just reiterating to make sure that thing is solid before you start drilling into it.

My bad. It just barely covers the last hole but I'd have to cut and move forward the edge of the mount and I'm just not sure q solid way to do it.

No worries. If it's just barely covering the last hole you might be able to grind that area back to access the hole and maybe reinforce that area where you removed the material.

The bumper you’re wanting to mount. Does the mounting tab go on the outside of the frame or the inside?

I’d just cut the new bumper to fit. Then drill a new mounting hole on the bumper and frame.
