Alright so.... I just order a set of KING coil overs w/ 700lbs spring and rear res shocks because I am getting plate bumper in June with a winch and didn't want to rebuild with a different coil later. I was going to order up a set of custom Alcan leaf springs for the truck but since I don't have the bumper, bed rack or any of the stuff I plan yet I would end up with an extremely stiff truck going with custom built springs for that weight.

I was wondering what you guys think of me putting on a wheelers 3 leaf progressive kit until get the rear situated?

Or if any have better ideas that would be great.

Grey wire MOD, deck plate, diff breather MOD, 2nd gen. OME 883# on Tundra 5100's, OMD custom 3" leafsprings, rear shock relocation, Ivan Stewart TRD rims w/285/75/16's, '02 bumper MOD, Famous Fabrications sliders , LED interior/exterior lights, bed bar, Custom tube bumper, Old school KC day lighters,Red Ring 8" HID flood, Kenwood vhf 2M.. umm some other shit I'm forgetting right now

Depending how far off down the road your custom Alcans are, you can do a cheap fix w/AAL's , those too can get pricy, of course I've got my own remedy for this but thats another thread...

Depending on how long you plan to wait, I'd just get a single AAL for 1/3 the price and run it until you get new leaf springs. If it's going to be a couple years, then I'd go with the smoother riding 3-leaf.

This is a good example for you seeing how these stock springs w/TSB are off of a 2011 4x 'Taco

The addition of 2 springs per side off of a 1-ton S-10 flatbed yield an honest 3" & no sags after trail running & desert mobbing

    hard to believe huh ??

The only issue I have atm is I can't find a dealer willing to do the TSB for me which is why I was looking at the wheelers haha

The fact that this leaf spring TSB shit keeps following one production year after another is a major FAIL on Toyota's part IMO....
