Has anybody been able to get a refund, talk to Toyota or dealer to fix or resolve the issue. My truck only carries rsi camper, deck system mostly empty and a k02 16 265 and my leaf springs are all curve. 2019 with only 37k

I had to put an add-a-leaf on mine and I just had a topper and sleeping frame plus mattress in there permanently. Worked great. I am not sure this would e considered a flaw but you could ask.

Before you talk warranty with them, take everything off the back of the truck first. My dealer told me to do and then come back to get a warranty approval by their regional inspector.

There are others here that have the same spring pack issues due to permanently loading the back. I’m doing the same and did an add a leaf with airbags/daystar cradle as I keep a lot of gear, a camper, and a spare 15 gal gas tank back there. It rides very well with the weight, on and off road.

Broken springs I’ve seen good will warrantied. Never with arching.

Besides it’s clear you need a heavy leaf pack. You should get it ordered right away.

What Bishop84 said ......... You'll need higher capacity springs for the long run, simple fact. Avoiding a "buckboard" ride can sometimes be a factor in the spring choice if you don't load it to optimum capacity all of the time.

I put the Firestone air bags in mine due to past experience with carrying variable loads and adjustability - price and installation convenience was a consideration too. Not all like the bags - I had favorable past experience.

Factory springs have a slight negative arch. You don't realize it until you're a few years into ownership.

The leaf springs are the Achilles heal of the Taco. A full spring pack will easily handle the weight you carry, especially once it’s loaded up. It’ll be the best 600-1000 that you spend on your truck.

look into old man emu, icon, Al can, etc

Thank you for all the help, I did see that the previous generation had tsb recall for the leaf spring and our generation might be the same too. Toyota might only want to fix it case by case but will document it and send to corporate. Have had only less than 10,000 miles with the rsi camper deck and full size spare on the rear should have not fail this soon yet

it hasn't "failed" as mentioned earlier, the Tacomas come flat or even with a negative arch,,,, add all your stuff to it? Yeah it's sagging,, but that's not failing. Just about everyone around here that ads a bed topper and other items to the bed has to AAl or get a new leaf pack.
I have a bed topper and a DECKED, and I am in the process of saving for and selecting a new leaf pack/shock for this very reason. Even if you did get the dealer to replace them, nothing will change, as they would be replacing them with the same soft springs.
