A few days ago I installed a new set of leaf springs and am now aware I'm an idiot. I put the bolt in the top of the shackle in backwards. I'm getting ready to fix it but before I go crazy I was wondering can I just jack up the diff, loosen the lower bolt on the shackle and rotate it down to gain access to the top so I can flip it, or do I need to go all out and remove the U-bolts, front, and shock mount?

    It's fine. Leave it.

It's just assembly order, they work both ways.

@Bishop84 I have to flip the bolt because it is longer on the side and is scraping against the metal holding it up.

Get rid of that stock shackle and hangers. They just bend and get a set of BAMF HD shackles and hangers. Good luck with your truck.
