Are leaf spring angle shims to get your differential in line with the drive shaft or is it to get the drive shaft in line with the carrier bearing?

I just installed some Dekars and the drive shaft and rear end are in line perfect. The drive shaft does an angle sum with the carrier bearing. Thanks would have done a search but my phone won't search on this site

    Diff to drive line.

To correct the carrier you drop it down a bit with spacers.

Axle shims are for correcting/aligning the relative angle from the yoke/flange off the rear diff to the drive shaft's rear U joint (where it bolts together) As mentioned, if vibes occur in the carrier bearing, alignment is usually done with a CB drop kit or spacers (they both achieve the same thing)
