Is there anyone with a 2013 Tacoma who was able to get the TSB for the new springs installed like on previous years of the 2nd generation? I was told that there isn't a TSB for the 2013's rear suspension so it can't be done?

Im having it done to my 2010, but not sure about the 2013. Just call up the dealer and tell them that it's bottoming out with 600lbs in the bed of the truck, and you'll find out real quick.

I haven't heard of anyone having it done. This was the link I found.

Here it is 2013 and in 2008 I was waiting for the TSB to become available for my year Tacoma. Why can't Toyota just put the four leaf packs on all Tacoma's and call it a day??

bilstein set at 1.75, Racho 5000 rear with 4 leaf kit, floor mats, high lift jack, pull hook in hitch, bed rail corner braces, severe duty brake pads and devil horns on the grill....
Because in the US, most of the taco's are used as passenger cars and toy haulers...the HILUX sold in the rest of the world has double the pay load but a smaller tow rating.

I have a 12 and was told it only went thru the 11model year. They thought it would include the twelve eventually but there was nothing they could do now

My 13 already has a 4 leaf rear straight from the factory. I don't believe the TSB applies to the 13's because Toyota addressed the issue with the new models.

The 2012/13 SR5 and Sport models come with the 4 leaf pack , only the Offroad still comes with the 3 leaf pack

As does mine. But anything more than a couple hundred pounds sags the rear end too much. I predict an AAL is in my future. I understand that Wheeler's has a HD 3-leaf progressive kit that's pretty good.

Had 2 stoves and dishwasher in my truck recently, not a ounce of sag in the rear.
    Truck drove like a charm

I have a '13 off road dcsb and they are scheduled to do the TSB on monday the 20th.. at first they were trying to say the tsb does not apply and i would have to wait for the service manager and the regional manager to come to an agreement before they would address it (service manager has been out on FML for 2 weeks now).. then the service rep talked to one of the other reps and i guess there is a TSB for sagging springs with the factory tow package installed and they can swap out leafs springs with no questions asked..

as soon as i drove mine off the dealership i noticed the vibration during acceleration.. it got better when i put my snugtop rebel on but then the back end was sagging and sways side to side too easily.. i'll see how it does with the new springs.. if those dont fix it i'll have to get helper springs right away

3 leafs plus the overload IS the 4 leaf pack

If the 12 + 3 ( ? ) springs are redesigned why do the Sport and SR5's come with the 4 leaf pack ?

and when you get the leaf spring TSB done , they DO replace the leaf springs

exactly what they did on my 2009. More for the parts less labor. You ought to see what Toyota pays them to do this.

Complained to the dealer about the springs on my 2013 TRD OR hitting the bump stops. Dealer said that is normal, it's designed to hit the bump stops. Attempted to have him document it as there was clear evidence but he wouldn't do it.
