Hey Y'all, I'm new here and new to Tacomas. I build fence for livestock and bought the Toyota to be able to get around the fence line easier than a 3500 Cummins does, and to limit the miles I put on my bigger truck.

I've had it a couple weeks and it's an exceptionally clean truck for its age, but it definitely needs new leaf springs and shocks. My plan is to put a flatbed on it so I'll be adding a fair amount of weight when you include the tools I'll be carrying. What do y'all recommend as far as brands go?

The general springs hd springs would be a good fit.

35s, flatbed, rhino liner paint, SOS front bumper, JD Fab lca pivot, JD Fab inner fenders and some other stuff.
I built a flatbed for mine and used Deaver U402 stage 2s. With the flatbed and all the stuff I carry its about 500lbs over stock. I'm really happy with them. I have some of the cheaper Fox shocks and they're fine.

Hi, did you find the right springs for your setup?
I've recently bought a Tacoma and built a flatbed for similar purposes and need leaf springs as well.
