Noticed my truck was looking more level than usual lately so I looked under in the rear and my leaf Springs appear to be flat. So I'm looking for an aftermarket replacement but all I can seem to find are lift kits and add a leaf.

Any suggestions on oem replacement parts?

General Spring HD Leaf Packs. They will give you about 1-1/2 " lift in the rear and handle much more load than any of the stock Toyota springs . They come with bushings already installed. I think I paid $189.00 /side.

I'd say the dealership could sell you the TSB spring kit. But it's going to be expensive.
I can't see why you would want to go back OEM especially since you have a truck in
the TSB range. They ride like crap from the factory with anything over 500lbs in the bed.

I don't need the extra weight capacity that the TSB Springs or HD springs provides and I have no plans to lift the truck. I've owned it since 07 and the ride has been great and still is. I'm going on vacation this October and want to make sure that the truck is in top shape.

Why don't you just go to a spring shop and get them to rebuild the for you. It should only cost you a couple hundred.

I put these same springs in my truck in April. Both sides were broken. So far the ride is nice. Took about an hour and a half per side. You will need a few washers to shim the bushings and may need to bend the emergency brake bracket a tiny bit. I also bought new u-bolts from Toyota.

I just did it with a floor jack and stands. U-bolts should only be torqued once. Having said that, you can search through many threads on Tacoma World about factory spec of 37 ft-lbs, which most say is low and probably is not torqueing to yield. Why chance it?

I heard the 37ft-lbs was a typo. Suspension components should not be torqued that low

Lucky for me I'm a tech at a Ford dealership so I have a 12k lb two post lift I can use. So hopefully it will only take my lunch break to do

1-1/2 lift? Was that after they settled or before?

I don't haul much either, just a full bed here and there, mostly to the landfill. My springs are completely flat to the point of almost being reversed arched a bit. When I tow something, not very often, the rear end squats like a dog taking a dump. I don't mind a rougher ride, it is a 4x truck after all, but I don't want the rear to be so high it makes the front look like it has cinderblocks tied to the suspension.

I guess if I went with the HD version, it would get the rear back up to roughly it was when the truck was purchased new?

The HD version will make it taller than stock. If you want stock hight you want the ones I linked

I have not noticed any settling yet. The springs I put in were the same as factory, no lift.

I am not sure if you have plans of lifting or not, but the Progressive AAL is only a step above AAL and still can be viewed as a bandaid especially since your leafs sound shot. New leaf packs are the best bet when leafs are too far gone.

Any idea how much the u bolts cost from Toyota? Tried to get our parts department to call today but they suck

Oh and I did look up the torque spec and it is 37ft-lbs
