What's the ride height look like if you stand back and look at the whole truck? Mine pretty much looks like that all the time and it still sits up an inch or two in the rear with stock non tsb springs and a camper shell.

While I would rather have the heavier tsb springs, I can't get them for free, and for the occasional trip to Home Depot to pick up 1000 pounds of mulch, it does fine. Bounces a little on the freeway and hits the stops sometimes, but no problems yet.

Are there any options for more durable leafs that don't raise the truck?

Does the rake look funny if you replace the rear leafs without raising the front?

One can never have too many light bars.
My 2013 looks just like that but I don't qualify for the TSB yet.... If I have 5 people in my truck and 300lbs in the bed it bottoms out.

Just go with some Old Man Emu leafs, they're relativity cheap and are great quality.
I went to the dealership they now have a Leaf Spring Recall. Its worth it .

So for the spring still look flat while the truck is on the ground? Is pretty much normal or do I need to take it in, the truck is not sagging nor has a very large rake the rear , if you step back it looks pretty much level from front to back

Could you take some photos so I could compare them with how they look on my truck cuz on my truck they're flat and towards the front it looks like they're bent down a little bit due to the way the bracket is

Thank you for assuaging a concern I didn't realize I had until I got on here. OME HD + Sumosprings is the sweet spot for me.

Interesting. Maybe that's a different thing for 2.7.

On my 4.0, from what I understand the TSB is two things:
    1. Toyota found out factory leaf spring metallurgy develops cracks. They can break and puncture the gas tank. So being an NHTSA safety concern, a recall came out to replace them with a different metallurgy
    2. having had that TSB done, it did not Add-A-Leaf. The number of leafs ended up still being the same (I believe 3 total). They told me there's different part numbers based on which specific model, Sport vs. non-sport, etc. - not sure if that's true. I'd imagine no, because #1 it's cheaper for Toyota to spec the same part, and #2 having worked at a dealer I've seen that many SA's don't know anything.

At the end of the day, an average pallet of anything from Home Depot or otherwise, can typically get up to 3000-4000lbs.
That seems like a lot of weight to be putting into a small light-duty pickup truck like the Tacoma on 3 leafs.
I'm sure a way to strengthen the rear is more leafs, or other part upgrades.
Cheapest leaf change is probably AAL.
Higher from that is entire leaf pack replace with something like Icon RXT

The thing is I am not sure if it is like that from factory or if it a if it is actually bent/flat

Toyota replaced rear springs on some Tacoma's under warranty. I got new ones at no cost at 200,000 miles on my 07. Woudn't hurt to check. In very rare cases some springs were breaking and puncturing the fuel tank.

“TSB” leaf springs are still garbage. Do yourself a favor and buy real springs.

This is what mine looked like before replacing.
