I’m between General HD’s and the Deaver J66 springs. Can anyone share some more experience if you have these springs? I do not really want to add height the the rear. I can live with about an 1” increase. My current springs were replaced under the TSB a few years back but are once again shot. Bottoming our with bearly any load in the bed.

If your not carrying weight but want something tough go w/ the Dakar Mediums. I have the HD's with a cap, fridge, RTT, tools, etc etc etc and it holds the weight and rides nice.

@diabetiktaco I guess I should have mentioned I did not want to add much lift in the rear. How much lift did it give you?

Ok yea I’m not looking to go that high I have a 2” lift in the front. I’m only a little bit squatted rn. Looking to maybe go an 1” in the rear. With brand new springs I might even be level, my currents springs are pretty sagged.

Do you run them? I haven’t really thought about them. I feel like it’s just a bandaid like the springs are just bad.

Pretty sure the deavers will add 2-3" as well. Have you looked at the Icons? They let you take out leafs for less spring rate/lift.

Airbags or sumo springs Its about the only option to add better load handling without lifting. Pops had them on his 2016 taco and they worked great.

I have airbags because I occasionally add RTT and a bunch of other stuff, plus being able to inflate one helps level when camped. Usually have just a few psi in them

    They replace your bumpstops.
I just replaced my worn out 2011 TSB packs (with Headstrong 3 aal) with Icon. Worn out springs rode on the airbags, stiff ride with no weight. For the money, the Icon RXT Packs are great for adjustable height. Look into them.
