Leaf springs

I went the Custom Route with Alcan iasked no lift to pair w bilstein 6112 front and 5100 rear….also ordered the U bolts from Alcan….now the issue i have is that i have not install them because i feel im misssing some many other things to do it right…. Like shackles maybe ? Bolts that hold the rear shocks ? New UCA and etc etc….. since IDK i rather wait and buy more parts to do it ONCE and do it Right becuase is about 22 yrs old truck and sure i won” t be updating same parts anytime soon,
If you got this and. You can advise i appreciate it.
Kudos for the guy with 95 over 600 K. I lost count but is the little white taco to the moon and back,!,,

That, made no sense.

 

I will tell you this , my experience with changing my springs out led to cutting front bolt with a sawzall they were very rusty and impossible to get out and the rear shackles were even worse . I bent the hell outta the shackles trying to get the bolts out. They will probably be seized to the bushings.

Get bolts bushing and shackles and return if not needed
