Stock with a camper shell for now.
I am having a dilemma on leaf springs originally I wanted the dobinson 111 leafs because it seemed like from the research I had done on here everyone liked them and they didn’t get squeaky like other brands, but they give you two inches of height and honestly I would really only like 1-1 1/2 inches of lift from them, so then I started looking at deavers and they have a plethora of choices.

what do you recommend for a leaf spring that is between 1 and 1 1/2 inches of lift, and doesn’t get squeaky? Also weight wise I will have a camper shell always on the truck, HC rear bumper with a spare tire on it, and at some point will purchase a small travel trailer for the family and be towing it. With all of that weight what is the best leaf spring to accommodate the weight ?

    thanks everyone in advance.

Everyone says they squeak because originally I planned on these because they fit my needs until I heard that everyone was complaining about them squeaking.

I have a very similar setup as you, and I went with Alcan springs. So far they are great, I think it's been 3 years now

Yup, I went with Alcan's too when I had my 1st Gen for a 2" lift, never had any squeaks with em...I also had greaseable rear shackles too...

I like my Icon RTXs, but they do squeak like a mutha. So far any spray, water, silicone, whale spuug,, or any other mystery lube only lasts about 14.5 miles. The good news is; my GF now refuses to drive my truck.

I know 2 people that have icon rxt and they squeak. I have Deavers and work fine. I know some guys that run the Archive medium and are pretty happy with them. They do have quite a bit of lift so probably Deavers stage 1’s.

So, what causes the squeak? Living in a wet climate? Rust? Dirt?

    Apparently them being too clean.

My Icon RXTs started to make a slight bit of noise maybe a month after I put them on... until I went on my first offroading trip. They fully went silent after that (had the same thing also happen with Skyjacker leafs on a Ford Ranger).
I think noisy leaf springs are simply telling you you don't go offroad enough and that you wasted your $$$ on expensive leaf springs :D )

I have dobinsons 112's and they have been great compared to my ome's a bit of squeak here and there but nothing crazy. They hold weight like no other ill tell you that much. Easily 500lbs in tools and recovery gear in my box currently plus the cover rack and tent still sits high and pretty compared to my ome 111's that sagged at the sight of the tool box

X3 for Alcan's. Plus they do whatever lift and weight capacity that meets your needs.

Mine don’t squeak ever, at all. And I live where it gets dusty. Just grease em before you put them on. And make sure they are torqued nice and tight.

While I have the OEM 4 leaf pack, I’m running near 200K on them. At one point I thought they squeaked. I tried just about ever trick and lube available. I finally had a need to replace the rear shocks and now no more squeak. I’m pretty sure the worn shock bushing was the source of the squeak.

I’m getting some Alcans made soon. To my weight and lift height I want. Buddy has ran them on his Toyota pickup for 9 years and they are going strong still.

Sounds like the Alcans are the ticket, I imagine with them being custom your weight and height you want to obtain, they are pretty costly. I looked and they didn’t have any basic pricing on there site for just leaf springs but I guess I will either go with those or deavers since it’s a fan favorite and no complaints of squeaking.
