Been having an issue of bottoming out lately, i never looked, just thought i might need some shocks. Today me and the neighbor were putting my shell back on the truck and got to lookin and the leaf springs are not looking healthy at all! Not a smile, but a frowning look! Got googling leaf springs and it seems all i could find would give me a 2.5 to 4 in lift. Im not intrested in any lift, more of a stock ride, any idea where to find some OEM leaf springs for a 99 4x4 and a price range? Thanks for any info!

Man thats a sweet deal right there! I wish i had a little more time to get the funds! still might go through the same guy to get them though. You think i should get the 5 leafs and new u bolts if i have a cap and load down with camping gear from time to time?

I am going to go with a 5-leaf because:

    1. I have an extra cab and the cap, so more weight
    2. The 5-pack allegedly does a better job at reducing axle-wrap.

Credit cards are great for this sort of funding dilemma.

I just hope we can get the dicsount. Time is running out.

Yeah, that didn't sound right to me. For stock (or close to stock), including overload leaf for stock weight capacity, I think the only options are OEM (as if...NOT), Wheelers HD replacement (made by Alcan), or custom built by Alcan directly.

Am I missing any options here?

Just to let you know about the new OEM springs, they are better than nothing but brand new, with a cap, my springs sagged and needed an AAL to bring them back to stock height.

I work on a golf course, and we have a mechanic. Hes a pretty experienced dude, but he likes cuttin coners a bit and today he was telling me about some overload springs that bolt on to the shock and its like 30 bucks for the pair. not having 500 right now for new leafs from wheeler.....is this a good idea just until i can save the money for the leafs, just getting tired of doging all the pot holes and with temps hittin 80 fri ill be hittin the beach to soak some bait! THANKS for the input!
