So going with the TSB over AAL would make for a better ride? Also, how do you go about getting the TSB done by your local dealer?? Do you explain to them that your hauling heavy loads with sagging issues?? Sorry for the rookie questions. And does anybody know what it would cost for me to have the TSB done if not under warranty?? Thanks for any help

Does the leaf replacement need to be done at the dealer I bought it at or can I take it to my local Toyota dealer?

I still don't get why some dealerships give you a hard time about it?

They don't get reimburanced from Toyota?

It counts as warranty work, and they get paid somewhat less for that than standard work.

It really depends on the dealer. Some want to help you out and for you to be happy, some just want to fight you tooth and nail.

Here's my advise....call around to your local dealers...if the dealer hasn't heard of the rear leaf tsb, avoid them.

If they have done it on another truck, they are familiar with the problem and won't give you a hard time. When I brought my truck in, they didn't even look at it, they just ordered the parts. Turns out they had done their first leaf spring TSB on another truck earlier that month.
