    Hey TW!

I just bought a first gen after owning a second gen for some time. The Old shock absorbers have rusted out and I need to replace them. There is also a visual sag on the driver side. So I figure it’s time to replace the springs and shock absorber.

how do I measure and make sure I get the right height absorber and spring replacements? Do I also need to do the front suspension while I’m at it so everything is level?

    thank you!

Find a reputable vendor. Talk to your vendor. Buy a recommended kit.

I just did this on my 98. I went with Old Man Emu. They had the whole kit, shocks included for the springs. Went with the Dakar pack and nitro chargers. Very happy so far and it was fairly simple to do.
