Really looking for feedback from any of you that have installed an AAL. Stock shocks will be replaced at the same time and I realize they are a slight contributing factor.

Backup plan would be to go to GS HD Leaf packs but I really don't want a lift. My thinking was that a single AAL may (bandaid I know) just bring me back to where I want to be. I'd be searching for the longest one that'll fit between overload and bottom 3rd leaf - I haven't yet measured.

No canopy, no heavy haulin', just an older guy looking for a little less ass sag on a DD>

Success stories out there from folks who've given themselves stock like ride height while breathing a little life into not-so-frowny factory leaf packs?

They look tired but an AAL can buy you a lot of time. Are any of them broken? Doesn't look so. I have a spare AAL set I never used that I would be happy to sell but not sure shipping it would be worth the expense. I can certainly find them in the pit that is my garage if you are interested.

2002 Tacoma Extra cab 2WD Prerunner. I recently installed General Springs Heavy Duty leaf springs in September, 2024. I only have a truck bed tool box, no camper. The height went way up and there is a noticeable vibration transmitted when initially accelerating that wasn't present before. The vibration goes away after getting up to speed. I just ordered new standard leaf springs to bring ride height back down. Stuck with fairly new leaf springs. Just adding my lesson learned.

if they were just flat I’d suggest an aftermarket add a leaf or adding a leaf or two from a junkyard s10/dakota pack but your springs are already showing a W shape in the pictures.

    time for new ones imo
