I think it is hilarious that he references trucks with coils carrying insane weight (like tanks). That's cute that he can recognize that, all while being oblivious about the actual designed abilities of the trucks that we are talking about. Here I am, thinking it is common knowledge that you are not buying a Tacoma for heavy hauling and towing. If heavy hauling and towing is your thing, you should probably go full size...with or without leafs!

TAK4 is available for both front and rear applications. I think most customers still choose leafs in the rear due to cost.

    Lol!

Maybe because I grew up being bounced around in leaf sprung trucks and spent my days operating earth moving equipment, kinda over beating the shit out of myself. You must be a gluten for punishment. If me wanting a better ride makes me a pussy then so be it! lol!

No need to yell, think we all can hear you… lol! Have fun with those spring boards…I really have no need towing a 50 ton tank, nor want to. There is a reason I got out of heavy hauling, now want light and easy like Sunday morning.

    It is.

I am quite impressed that the new Taco has better payload, what is it again 1700-1800 lbs? Which is about perfect for that size of truck, need more buy a bigger truck. My days of hauling materials are over, all about hauling my ass around in comfort these days. Would seriously take a look at the Ram 2500 with a FWC, has gobs of power, decent payload and doing it all comfortably.

I am just done really. You keep calling coil springs better than leaf springs and comparing them for weight, makes 0 sense. No one called you a P, you called it to yourself dude .

Those 2 have different pros and cons, you just hate leaf springs because you bounced around in a truck and had rough experience. I think thats what this is about. Whatever makes you happier.

Lol, doooood, my whole point was coils are just fine for heavy loads. Sure you keep on one upping for whatever reason. In a midsize truck application is perfect application for coils.

Not sure why you’re so upset that you’re “done” now. lol! Is just suspension, don’t get too worked up over it.

Sure sounds like you’re calling me a pussy if you suggest I buy a luxury SUV to get a smooth ride, maybe I want both utility and smooth…. I ride dirt bikes and was into desert racing when I lived in AZ. Suspension setup is key. Can’t beat a coil for that, there is a fab shop Giant Motorsports doing leafs, unfortunately they clap out quicker under severe use like desert racing.

Can beat the shit out of coils.

Coil springs can be tuned to do whatever you need them to do. There’s nothing wrong with them inherently, even in EXTREME OFF ROAD COOL GUY situations

    LC 105 makes me moist.

Coils, diesel, manual trans, bare bones interior. Complainant ride even with a 1800lbs payload.
