"Leaked" MY2018 Changes

Sure someone will buy it. If you offered one in two tone baby diarrhea green & brown with metallic fleck someone would be all over it.

 

I would have a hard time taking anyone who drove a calvary blue Tacoma seriously.
Whenever I see the FJ's with that blue, I can't help but to wonder what the appeal of that color was, or how much baking powder was cut into the crack that was smoked prior to purchase.

 

Orange was available with the 2nd Gen though, so no surprises there.
Tan/Light Brown trucks are more common than you'd guess, and have a tacticool feel to them. So again, not surprised.

 

As a military guy smitty, you should totally understand that the tacticool crowd would LOVE baby diarrhea green and brown, cause tactical shit. Literally and figuratively.

 

Hm $450 for the safety sense stuff. I wonder what all that will include. Doesn't seem bad. NoDak doesn't have the new Prem and Tech package prices though. I suspect the combination price will be higher than the P&T package of olden.

 

They actually are splitting P&T into 2 different packages for 18.

 

I know. That's what I'm saying. Cost to get both packages will likely be more than the old single package. Leather is on the table though unlike in the past.

A lot of hate for Cavalry Blue. I'm looking forward to it, hopefully it comes to the TRDs in 2019 like Cement/Quicksand/Inferno did.
Personally I don't understand the appeal of Quicksand or especially Inferno, who wants an Orange vehicle?

 

If you're buying the Pro to impress the neighbors then I guess this would be a kick in the nuts, but TRD OR and Pro I thought were about the performance. I try to make my truck look as ordinary as the next white Tacoma primarily not to draw attention and increase risk of some numb nut deciding he needs my truck or parts of it more than I do.

 

When did Toyota make a 6MT SR Double Cab?

 

I don't think they do, think the SR Manual is only 4 cylinder access cab.

 

It says in post #1 discontinued SR Double Cab 6MT. This model never existed.

 

Go figure...

Noticed that it was marked as Fleet Sales, that would not be available to the general public.

 

I also just realized Toyota never made a V6 Access Cab SR either.
