I've got a brand new F-150 FX4 work vehicle and it is poorly built. Driver's door doesn't align, transmission clunks, seats are uncomfortable, and there is a huge delay shifting from R to D. The ecoboost is fast though. If the Ranger is going to be built to this standard I wouldn't consider it.

Glad I got my 2017. I don't know why, but I don't like the thought of the vehicle controlling my brakes. And lane departure assist would drive me nuts.

Any ideas what the "premium off road" or "premium sport" packages include?

Sorry if it's been answered, but is there a reason that JBL isn't offered on MTs currently?

Glad I read this thread. Was about to pull the trigger on a 17 TRD Off Road 4X4 for invoice, but I will wait for the 18's to become available. I have a Subaru with the Eyesight and love the radar cruise etc.. I just hope the price does not increase too much.

I dig it. Terrible photoshop but the color looks pretty good with the black accents IMO.

I think the first post/table is pretty clear. Look in the middle of the page on the left hand side.

I 'm not sure I agree with that. The biggest problem with Wranglers has been the pathetic towing capacity. Its the reason I moved to a Taco. Just so I could pull a boat. The Scrambler is rumored to have updated axles/rear end and with the diesel power plant could easily suggest a 7,000+ towing capacity. If Jeep releases the Scrambler, and completely ignores the midsize truck benefits for the sake of just "being a Jeep", they will never pull in the general midsize truck crowd other than Jeep nuts.

And another thing that concerns me is the cost. I mean, if they price this thing at 45k with a Diesel you can forget it.

Jeeps are expensive. I expect the Jeep Truck to keep up that tradition.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Subaru uses twin cameras to control the ACC and the automated braking (when it is needed -- only when the driver is "distracted" (a lot of these nowadays) or some other idiot pulls out in front of you (a lot of these as well).
My point --there is no radar associated with the cruise. There is a type of radar or sonar that senses the "rear cross traffic alert system" As of 16's the "eyesight" system ey have a rear crash prevention system --I am not sure what controls this.
BTW --we have a 15 Outback limited with the "eyesight" system--we love it!!

Has that pearl in it that makes it a nice color when the sun or light hits it. I love my black but those metallic colors do make them nice.

4K!!! That is a bit much for crap I really don't want/need. Oh well, maybe by the time I get back home I can still find a 17 OR at a good price.
