Holy crap is that your truck?

Omg I'd be pissed. Looks like a 5 year old went to town with the scraper. Unfortunately your truck will truly never be the same. A robot applied all that sealant. Now you have to rely on a Toyota tech to reapply that sealant. I don't trust them to change my oil let alone that kind of work. Sorry OP this sucks.

Yup. Fuuuuuck thaaaat noise. They gonna prep and prime every little gash where they just exposed bare metal? In a damp environment like yours they could be a problem down the line. Truck is cashed. Rooting for you OP.

Those photos showing their crappy and aggressive scraping job could help his case. To fix that properly they need to sand down all of those scratches and bondo/filler all of the deep grooves. Bondo all over the floor pan wtf.

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
More than likely that's probably it for him posting. He wanted to be transparent but I can promise you the buyback, repair, or fair trade will come with a NDA.

And truthfully, it's in his best interest to abide so he can get his family and situation taken care of.

Bondo on a floor pan no one will ever see? Two sprays with a can of paint and it won’t ever be an issue. Don’t be dramatic

Bondo is one brand of body filler. Body filler fills voids or low spots in the metal. The panel needs to be flat and smooth as it was prior to their hack job. Leaving all of those gouges might not seem like a big deal. But it's not the proper way to repair the panel. I work in a body shop (15+ years) and TBH center floor pans (cabin) rarely get repaired.

We repair rear floor pans all the time (trunk area). Sound deadening is going to go right back on top. But, filler still gets applied. Over the dents and scratches that the body tech could not get perfectly flat.

    So final update....

I NEVER HEARD ONCE from Toyota.... pretty disappointing there. However the dealer bent over backwards for me. I got a great trade in number for my old truck and a pretty screaming deal on a fully loaded 2020 TRD SPORT, I also got a discounted price for the lift and a local tire store hooked me up with the rims and tires at a good price. This will likely be my last Toyota as I’m disgusted with the lack of response from them. The dealer was Kendall Toyota of Eugene for Thoes asking.

Happy that the dealer did right by you, and happy that you can move on from this. Congratulations on the new vehicle.

Also, what was the VIN of your old truck so I can be sure I don't buy it.
