Hello! I noticed a weird bad smell so decided to check it out & it turns out to be a leaking cap (first two photos). It has been leaking for no more than two weeks when I replaced the skid plate. I don’t know what this connects to, but it’s mostly clear oily fluid with a kinda bad burnt smell.

What is this from & is it ok to drive like two hours to a mechanic? Any way to field repair it til I can get it there?

Also unrelated but discovered a hose hanging loose from the EVAP system (third photo). No clue how long this has been loose. Edit: found it hanging down towards the frame, not up towards the engine block as photo’d.

What should it be connected to?

    Thanks y’all :)

These are vent hoses. They allow the release of internal pressures. One is from the trans/t-case and the other is from the front diff.

Hey thanks! It’s the one in the back with the arrow pointing to it. Any idea why it would be leaking fluid or how safe it is to drive it to a mechanic?

There should be a vac hose routing sticker on underside of hood.

I found it! Thank you. From the diagram it appears that hose doesn’t actually connect to anything, so I’m assuming that’s all good
