Leaking Oil Drain Plug after Oil Change

    Nah do it right. You could drain the oil, change the gasket, pour used oil back in, top off if needed, until your next oil change is due. Or just go ahead and change early.

    I honestly wish they would go to a beveled bolt and skip the dang crush washer. My Miata has that setup and after 30+ years it still doesn't leak a drop of oil. Even if it wears a bit, the bevel will take up the slack until until we quit BBQing beef and pork and instead, start inviting them to an all you can eat vegan picnic.
