Toyota leaking engine oil is not normal.
    Front of the engine?

If it's engine oil. It's likely the Rear Main Seal.
If it's trans mission fluid, it likely the Input shaft seal.

    Not normal.

Timing cover is in the front and they leak more than the rear main.

How does a timing cover leak end up at the rear of the engine between the engine and transmission?

Like how does it get up into the bell housing of the transmission?

I could not tell from the picture what part of the engine I was looking at.

If you drive fast enough, yes.

That's a dust cover for accessing torque converter bolts. If the oil is engine oil, then it's the rear main seal.

In my 2017 it was the rear main seal. $1500 in our dealership.
