leaking thing on propeller shaft

    i was under the truck checking things out and saw this. it almost looks like engine oil. maybe when i did my oil change some splashed out of pan on to this but this is the only place that has a leak or what appears to be a leak. is this an issue?20190710_120842.jpg 20190710_121112.jpg

    No, there is a grease fitting in there. Nothing to worry about.

    That thing is a drive shaft carrier bearing. To my knowledge it is sealed and not greased. I’d mention it to your dealer and get it on record.

    Mine looks the same as well, it's not leaving in puddles or stains of fluid/grease on my driveway. I was worried at first until researching on a couple forums, I'm still gonna bring it up to the dealership on the next service.
