A bit backstory, 2008 4.0 auto, 230k truck has been shuddering sometimes when 35-50 mph at low throttle (fast pace it doesn't do it), I assume torque converter lockup too early is the cause. When I run it in 4- gear drive over 50 mph it blows tranny fluid , when in overdrive dealing with the shudder it is fine. Any ideas? Is it related to torque converter or possibly 2 issues, like high fluid level & malfunctioning converter. What can I do. any ideas?

    Where is it leaking from?
I have not idea why it wouldn’t leak in 5th gear, but does in all other gears?

Doesn't seem to do it in 5th, only when 4-gear drive & after about 5 miles driving going 50-55+ mph. Not towing anything just the truck itself.

I have no idea where from, only that transmission fluid coated the bottom of the tranny, the multiple times I experienced it.
