    Ok....so random thing....

My passenger side floor board is wet as if absolutely soaking wet as in I poured a 20 ounce (or more bottle of water on it).

    Coolant level is at 100%

It only happens when it's a crazy huge downpour.

The carpet on the vertical surface under the dash by the fan and evaporator is dry. The carpet on the floor of the rear seat is dry. It is simply the spot where your feet would be when sitting in the passenger seat and it is 100% soaked. Any help would be appreciated.

This is the second time it has happened. The first time I just figured one of my kids must have spilled a drink or the window was cracked during a downpour and I didn't realize it.

In the past, with another truck of mine, I had to run hose water on the exterior while I searched for where the leak was coming from. There were rust areas near the firewall corner that was allowing water in. I did this on a dry day and used a good flashlight to lie on back and look up. My guess is it's still coming down from somewhere. If you dry out the carpet, then run the hose, you may be able to figure out where is getting wet first while monitoring it, to get a feel on the direction of water intrusion.

Leaking windshield is a very common issue.

I'd check that black plastic cowl portion between the bottom windshield and hood.

There was a TSB for the Cowl Leaks on the 2005 Tacoma but the 2006 also suffered from this issue to a smaller extent. See below which has a link to the TSB. The TSB explains how to troubleshoot and repair any leaks that are found.
