What I realize is get the car you want first ttime around. You're already spending t he time locating and researching it. Don't regret it 6 months later thinking you should've gotten a package. If you are considering it, I suggest get it. It's cheaper now than to sell and rebuy a different car

Elk Grove Toyota (just south of Sacramento) had some straight forward low offers when I bought my 19 in January.

Well, I’m still in the game. Joined up with a new CU that has a way better rate than my current one and I’ll probably be making a purchase by next weekend. I suffered a minor setback this week by eating a rear bumper on a Tundra with my motorcycle so now I have a jacked up foot, broken toe and a unhappy wife. I think I’ll still shoot for a 6 speed manual but I’ll see how the wifey likes driving it.

On a side note, what’s the best way to score a deal on a new camper shell? That’s the next negotiation.

Hey freaks (sense the sarcasm)! I got my loan approval today with a sweet rate and...and...

I got a deal lined up!

It’s looking like 2019 TRD Off Road (4x4 of course), double cab short bed, tech package, all weather floor mats/door sil protectors, automatic in the oh so cool Cement flavor should be mine on Friday. Not for 38,901 but 33,850 plus taxes and fees to CA! Sounds like a done deal.

    Now for a shell...
