Love it! The weight was the biggest factor for me, it was also a lot cheaper as well. A few guys here have the Houston helmets so I was able to try on both before I ordered. Being on the smaller side the weight was the biggest selling point for me, also having the adjustability on the fly with the ratchet option was nice too.

Awesome, I do like the weight of them. My mines on the older side so it came with a few scars. Mine doesn't have a rachet which makes it a little bit of a hassle but overall a great helmet!

Once you have a leather you won't want anything else!

My duty helmet, a Phenix TL-2 it’s awesome, lightweight and comfortable. I also have a ‘77 5a that I got for a steal that sits on my mantle at home. 1796829C-1798-464D-81EC-A2E64ACE25AA.jpg E7C3BE74-BADD-4CF8-AF33-88FFD9BB3D1D.jpg

Nice lids, My buddy was just given an 80s 5A from one of our older members. He also has a horseshow when it comes to finding leathers.

I just put a brand new 2020 N5A in service 3 months ago. Word on the street is my department is going to start enforcing the 10 year rule on lids so I went ahead and grabbed a new one.

I have a 99 PreMSA N5A I use on my ambulance time and a mint 65 5A in my office. I also have all my helmets I’ve ever used in my basement which is pretty fun.
