"Leather" seats and the sunroof are part of the DC OR Premium package. They are not really all leather. They are leather trimmed. Mostly outside edges and headrest. The part where your ass actually contacts when you are in a seated position is of a composite material. Almost rubber like. It is NOT leather. It seems really durable. I suspect that part will last longer than the real leather trim and your/my saggy ass.

Started out I really just wanted the sunroof and was pissed that I had to buy into a package. But as stated previously leather seats (heated BTW), sunroof, JBL sound system, dual climate controls, and auto headlights are part the Premium Package. I like all of them and glad I paid for the package. Even the JBL sounds great and one less thing to shop for.

Edit: Entune is also included. That is meh.

I had cloth in my 16 and now leather in my 18. After 2 years the cloth had worn a bit and was tough to keep clean, dust dirt etc...leather is my choice and one of the reasons I traded up. Easier to clean and treat. That being said, it's not premium leather and more like a leatherette, but nicer than cloth. The heated seats, being in the northeast is nice to have on cold days.

I guess what I'm asking is would the seats from an 18 with leather swap in easily to a 17?

I ended up getting cloth because I was worried about dog nails putting holes in the leather. The leather does look nicer to me though.

Looking at how good of shape my '01 cloth seats and even '84 cloth bench is in I decided to stick with it.

I really wanted the sun roof to match the power rear window though.

    Well guys..
Just came back from my Toyota Dealer.
I cancelled the one that was comin on April 21 and took the one on the lot.
Has leather seats, sunroof ( which i checked if my head would clear,,lol and yes indeed lots of space for my head) and really happy that i made this decision.
Since my work, and i am a clean freak,i think it will be easier yo keep nice and clean with those..
Thank you everyone for all the great comments..:)
Will take a picture of my new Tac when i get and will post it..
    All the best.

So, with everyone going to leather, how can I get some of those cloth pull offs, my driver side bottom is alittle tore from getting in and out.

Leather, which I wish I had. But I’m 6’5” and a sunroof is a no go for me.

I've never liked leather seats. Don't like the stick in the summer months and I'm in Texas. I would say that cleanup is a lot easier thought.

Does having the sunroof really make that big of a difference? I'm 5'10" and have had with and without and hasn't been a noticeable difference. Does anyone know exactly how much lower the headliner is with the sunroof?

Feels like it is way lower than it has to be. I felt like I was in a Mazda Miata.

I don’t know for sure, but it feels significantly different. Maybe 3-4 inches?? Sunroof was a no-go for me.

Yes 2018 Leather would, you could also swap in Leather from a 2017 Pro to your Truck or if you wanted the 2016 and 2017 Diarrhea Colored Leather from a Limited.
