Dang, I'm completely lost. There are so many choices and reliable reviews seem to be a thing of the past.

My truck is a 2012 Prerunner and the seats are old and tired. I would like to do something to refresh the cabin but not over the top. I don't mind spending money on quality but there is a limit.

I prefer for them to be the replacement kind, you know factory look. But the more I look, the more I find myself wondering if there is a slip-over that is properly fitted and of quality materials.

Any testimony of your experience or what you wish you had done would be most appreciated. Katzskinzs are more than I want to invest in as much as I like them. What are your thoughts?

Many many threads on this, but clazzio PVC are the most budget friendly option that still maintain the OEM, "nobody knows its a cover" look.

I love my katzkins but they are expensive. PRP makes a really nice seat cover in the semi affordable range. Check out Chloes taco on YouTube she does a great review and install video of them.

This is interesting, I have now built and priced a set there. Do you have reference as to the difference between the premium vinal vs. the standard or budget etc? Referencing quality, longevity and look, etc...

I can only go by reviews since I just own the low end vinyl. According to what I read the premium has a more leather like grain to it. Clazzio also puts a longer warranty on the premium, 3 years vs one.

Honestly what I installed still has a nice grain and looks like real leather. It's a high quality material that stands up to a lot of abuse.
I just got back from a road trip with three very sandy, wet dogs in the back seat, and a solid week of scuffing up and generally abusing the truck interior.

I thought I ruined them but they wiped clean on the first attempt. That sold me.

This is my install photo, and they're still a little wrinkly here. After a week of riding they tightened up and look flawless now

Does dog hair stick in the perforation holes? I'm looking to replace my 10-year old Wet Okole's. My dogs hair weaves into the fibers and very difficult to vacuum out. The PVC covers appear to be a good solution.

I have the neoprene covers. They work well and have held up. Sometimes I wish I had the leather ones. But then I look at the price and remember why I didn’t get them.

Not bad at all. That's exactly why I got them. Every weekend camp trip took hours of hair removal, (or most of the time, a 30 minute quick job to get the hair down to a livable level.:anonymous:)

The covers have it where I can go hair free in a solid 20 minutes: 5-10 mins of wiping the seats then 15 spent vacuuming any carpet that isn't covered by covers or mats. It's a serious life changer if you've ever experienced the dog's magical ability to intricately weave hair into the cloth seats.

I wonder what variant stands up the best to life as you describe. Leather vs. Vinyl or PVC as it were. There are 2 levels of each, offering, Leather and Vinyl. Both are described as one being superior or premium vs. standard etc... Do you have experience one to another? I think we have got some lifestyle things in common.

I bought custom made 100% cotton seat covers with the TEQ logo on both headrests and also had them make extra large map pockets on the back for storage.
