Which is pretty big and fat compared to what came stock on a Rambler American. ;)

Not THAT fat I agree. As big a tire as can fit with no cutting.

Manual trans, 5 speed G force. Factory motor was the 232 and auto trans.

Cheers. Sorry to OP for thread hijack. ;-)

If you don't run it for at least ten minutes* per day, the CV boots start to leak, the rear diff breathes poorly, and the driveshaft vibrates. This is common knowledge.

*Thirty minutes, if it's a Sport.

Last 8 years or so, my truck sits outside 5 days a week, rain snow or shine. No issues at all.

If I know it’s gonna be sunny, I use a windshield sun visor.

Yeah, I think I am running 255s on the back of my Nova. Just ordered shock relocation kit to move them inward so I can get a bigger rim and tire. Currently on 8 and want to go to 9 or 9.5

I have left my Toyota’s sit numerous times in the garage for a long period. My 21 tundra Pro LunaRock sits a lot in the garage instead of putting all the miles I drive to work. Sometimes I feel like flipping it and making a big profit on it. But then I would not have it. Lol. It’s not going to hurt it. My 19 C7 Z06 gets stored for the whole winter without starting it. Keep it on a tender. At least 4 months.

I'm sure it'll be fine... but the OEM battery in my 2018 barely lasted a year. I thought it was from my infrequent use of the truck and it probably would have helped if I had driven it more, but I discovered other people have experienced poor battery performance from the batteries that came stock. I'm sure everything else should be okay letting your truck sit for a week.

A battery tender really helps with battery life on vehicles that sit.

All modern vehicles are "hard" on batteries, the neat electronic features need memory and memory requires constant power. Emissions equipment too, we see dozens of questions about the emissions test pump cycling after the truck has been off for several hours.

All that used power on the older cars was the clock.

I agree with everything you said. This is just my personal experience that the factory battery lasted just one year (if even that) and an aftermarket one from costco has been great for over 2 years. A battery tender would help out but just isn't do-able for a lot of folks.

I broke my ribs a little over a week ago and had to get my wife to come pick me up. I left my truck parked where I broke them. Just picked it up today. Other than a thick coat of dust it was fine.

I can still barely get in, out, or shift gears with broken ribs though.

So as long as you don't break ribs in the meantime you should be good to go.
